If you for some reason need to perform a restore from the chip you need to do the following.
- Turn on the unit
- First we need to change the category being displayed to Category Card - if the Card is called Card

- In the upper right corner click on the Category name it does say and choose Card from the
list of Categories
- Launch the program BackupMan
- You will have to click OK to a few pop ups before you get to the main
BackupMan screen
- The main BackupMan screen will have a box that contains the list of
backups on the chip, and two buttons down at the bottom - Backup and
Schedule

-From the list of backups choose the most recent one from the list
-With a backup name highlighted click on the BackupMan tab in the upper
left corner to bring up the menus
-Choose the option Restore Device from the Tools Menu
- If you are restoring on a different model unit from the model the
backup was made from there will be a popup at some point explaining what data
may not be restored
-You will be prompted with an are you sure popup as the restore procedure will
wipe out any data on the unit, choose Yes
- It will then display a notice that the digitizer will need to be
recalibrated when the restore is finished, click OK
-The unit will then restore the handheld from the chip
-When finished recalibrate the digitizer by clicking in the center of
the bulls eyes, and then the Done button after the unit displays Success!
-Next the date and time settings need to be verified, click Done when
finished
-Then the prefs will display, click the house button to return to the
All Category.
-At this point the data from the chosen backup has been
restored. You need to add in any data that was added after the
backup was made
