If a customer will not give me their phone number, can they still access my page? Or if their phone number is not on my office list, will a customer still be able to get to my home page? Yes. By entering your e-mail address, they will automatically be taken to your home page. However, this is NOT the best utilization of the system. The site works best when we have "linked" your customers to you by their phone number. It’s easy for them to remember.

What happens if my customer moves? When they enter their "new" number, it will not link. It will ask them if they have moved and to please enter their old number. You and your AA will then receive an e-mail alerting both of you that there was a customer change. The AA will then update your customer’s information.

Will the offices be required to double-check all Internet leads to make sure they are not existing customers? Yes. When we receive a lead, the AA will check if they are an existing customer. Again, this is why it’s very important to always submit a phone number with all your checks, credit cards and cash sales!

Will catalog requests be forwarded to my page? If you’ve submitted telephone numbers, there’s no reason for your customers to go to the catalog button. By simply entering their phone number they can access your home page & send you a request directly.

If a customer gave a friend my web page, could the friend access my web page even though their phone number or name is not in our system? No. Unless they enter your e-mail address, the system doesn’t "know" them. If however, they enter their friend’s number, they will be brought to your Home Page.

If I cold canvas and leave behind a tear sheet, how will my customers know to reach me on the Internet? (if they choose not to call) Include your e-mail address (jsmith) as their "special code". Their incentive to go to the web will depend upon your marketing skill. One idea is to offer something "free" for first time customers when they go on the web and enter your email address. Once they are brought to your page, the internet site will know they’re are not one of your existing customer and you might want to offer a compelling deal to get them to submit there info and phone number.
