| What is E-mail? Electronic mail; This is a way
to receive and send letters to anyone with an email address, including your customers.What is my E-mail address? Horizon will assign you a personal address. It will be the
first letter of your first name, followed by your last name. (ie: Bill Smith will be bsmith@horizonfoods.com)
How does a customer e-mail
me? They’ll pick the "send a message" tab on your personal page.
This will end up in your mailbox. If they know your address they can e-mail you directly
from their own email program.
How can I view my
messages? From the Horizon Foods Home Page screen, scroll to the bottom left
corner and click on Distributor Mail. Next you will be prompted to enter your
username and password. Initially your username will be your e-mail address(i.e.
jjones). You can then change your password. Your password will be the first 3
numbers of your Social number, Or it will be just a blank (press enter) This will bring you to the Horizon e-mail program
where you’ll have your own secure e-mail message area. You can view your incoming
mail and send mail to any customer with an e-mail address. The screens are easy to use!
And you can click on HELP to get a full online help page.
How do I e-mail a
customer? Just click on the "create a message" tab and type in their
address. (ie: jsmith@aol.com Or if they send you a
message, just pick the reply to button.)
Can I email
anyone in Horizon? Yes. Just type in their name.
For example, I’m info3@horizonfoods.com
Can I send an e-mail message
to multiple customers? Yes. When you build up your customer list we will
provide you with several "special offer" e-mails and you can target specific
customers with specials! They will click on a link embedded in the e-mail message and will
be sent right to your home page!
You think
this all sounds good, but you’re not a computer person and aren’t ready to learn
right now. What then? That’s OK. The customer’s e-mail will also be
sent to the office and your AA will hand it to you in the morning.
You already have an e-mail
address that you want to keep. What now? Just enter your alternate e-mail
address in your distributor section and all e-mails will be routed directly to your e-mail
address. i.e kgoldberg@aol.com
Can I use my own e-mail
program to get my e-mail? Yes. Our web mail system is world class and has few
limits. If you’re a "power user", e-mail me and I will send you
instructions on how to use any client (i.e. Outlook) or receive messages on your phone or
wireless device.
If I can't get on the net
(I’m in my truck), will I be able to get my e-mail? We can send all email to your wireless device th)
