Questions about customer usage and distributor control over Website content

How do I customize my personal page? At the bottom of the mail Horizon screen, click on "Distributor Logon". Your initial password will be your e-mail address and 1234 or just press enter (you have no password assigned). After you log in, there will be an easy interface to turn on any buttons. You will be able to pick specials, add personal messages etc. You can control your customer’s experiences and enhance the way you conduct your business.

Is my page secure? Can another distributor access my page? Yes. It’s secure. No one other than you and your customers can see your home page. Your customers will not be able to access another distributor’s page. So, the prices you place on your product (if you choose to include them), will not be seen by anyone else’s customers.

How will a non-customer, but potential customer contact me? When leaving literature behind to a potential customer that hasn’t yet made a purchase, be sure to include your e-mail address and your personal phone number. If the customer prefers to contact you via the web, they can simply enter your e-mail address instead of their phone number. This will bring them directly to your home page. Your home page will identify them as a potential customer and perhaps offer them an incentive to leave their phone number or email address. Then you’re on your way to making a sale!

Will I be able to take orders from my website? After you have selected the items you want displayed on your web site, and have entered prices (if you like), then your customer can "pick" and "click" the items that they are interested in. You will then receive a detailed e-mail showing what items they’re interested in.

Will I be able to take payment on my web site? No. The site is designed for you to make a delivery discuss prices and discounts then accept payment from the customer.

Will I be able to ship from the web site or do I need to go through the office? All transactions will still go through your office.

Will I be able to do business from anywhere in the USA? With our mail order program you can send gifts to a customer’s family & friends.

Can I change my web picture? If so, how often? Just send us your new picture. We will scan & enter it onto your site.

Can I give recipes, party planning ideas & testimonials on my site? Send me all your new ideas & we will add it to the links on your site.

Can I put helpful links on my page, exclusive to my page? E-mail me your ideas for future implementations.

Who can I reach with problems or help customizing? E-mail Joe m at joem@horizonfoods.com Joe will call me with the things I can work on. (Only send me your most brilliant ideas!)

What happens to requests for information? All requests are forwarded to your office. If there is a phone number or last name the AA will Lookup the customer. If there is no link to a distributor they will be handed out by the manager.

If I relocate, can I still service my customers via the Internet and mail order? ’ YES ! our mail order delivery dept is world class !

How will my cash customers reach me? When you make a cash sale, write down your customer’s info so your AA can enter them in the customer program. This will be downloaded into the web site so your customer can reach you. Another added benefit to doing this will be a more complete customer list if you request a print out from your AA.

How do customers’ names get on the web from my office? Customers are sent from your office to the web every night !!! So if you hand a check or credit card or details on a cash sale in on Tuesday to your AA it is posted to the internet that night ! . This is why it’s very important to make sure your customer list is updated with correct info and most important, their correct phone number.

If a customer uses both a home and business number, which do I use? Select the one they are likely to enter into the site. It’s usually their home number, but any number will work.

Will a distributor be able to go into his own database from home to edit client info. And, if a customer changes info in the space provided how will the distributor know? When a customer edits their own info and changes their address or phone number, an e-mail is sent to you and your AA detailing the change. At this point the AA will update the offices customer list which will subsequently update the web site.

When does a new customer that’s entered into the office database get updated on the web? Your new customers get downloaded every night ! so a new customer can see your home page in 24 hours after the sale ! (world class !). The web customers will exactly match what your customer list looks like in your office.Any changes to your offices customer file will be reflected on the web site

Will the product section be updated to feature new items? Yes. We will enter all new items. Since you can list the specific items you want (with text and optional prices) in you "order food" and "my specials" tabs, you must update your home page if you want new items to be included.
